IASCA Ramps up Recruiting Efforts, Hosts Meet n’ Greet at Becker’s meeting in Chicago

The Illinois Ambulatory Surgical Center Association (IASCA) recently held a meeting at the annual Becker’s Conference in Chicago to engage potential new members. The new association intends to give a unified voice to Illinois ASC’s.
The meeting featured remarks from Scott L. Becker, JD, CPA Partner, McGuireWoods and founder of Becker’s Healthcare, and Thomas H. Jacobs President and CEO, MedHQ. Attendees also received information about the new association and enjoyed time for networking.
IASCA is scheduled to host its first Annual Meeting on November 2, 2017, in the Chicagoland area. The group is also planning to host a lobby day in Springfield in May to begin building partnerships with legislators and regulators.
