IASCA Hosts First Annual Meeting

Jeany Dunaway, RN, CASCIASCA held its first Annual Meeting at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference in Oak Brook, Illinois on November 2nd. The meeting was a great success with almost 80 attendees from across the state of Illinois.
Robin Novak, RN, CICThe diverse program included presentations catered to all types of ASC employees, from nurses to administrators to directors. The morning session featured an Infection Control Seminar, while the afternoon sessions included discussion about federal advocacy led by ASCA Chief Operating Officer Steve Miller, health and safety updates from IDPH, and a presentation from Telligen QIN-QIO about their Ambulatory Surgery Center Quality Improvement Initiative.
