IASCA Calls for Support of Healthcare Providers During COVID-19 Crisis

In correspondence dated March 23, 2020, IASCA President Sarah Gardner urged U.S. Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin to support economic relief for ambulatory surgery centers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The letter concludes:
As the Senate considers critical relief to all Americans, we urge you to include grants and low interest loans to physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers. This will ensure that ambulatory surgery centers and other outpatient facilities can maintain operations and be at the ready to serve patients during this period of crisis and once it subsides.
